We’re always looking for fun ways to learn more about space. For our household, this means that we can easily use any of these space activities to learn something new.
No matter if you’re looking for fun space books or space printables, there is something here for everybody to learn from and have fun with!
If you can go outside on a nightly basis and look up at the sky with the kids, do so! This is such a fun way to get them to imagine and explore the vast area of space.

Fun Space Activities for Kids
One of the great things about space activities is that they’re perfect for keeping your child’s attention! There are so many great activities on this page that they’re going to love!
It’s also super fun to go outside during the different seasons of the year as well. There’s just something magical about staring up at the sky during winter versus summer. Both are beautiful, but unique as well.
Talk to the kids about why they think they vary and what their understanding is. This activity is great for conversation and critical thinking skills, too.
Space Books for Kids
Don’t forget to get some great space books. We LOVE reading in our house and have books literally in every room and even in our car.
My reason for this is because I want the kids to have access to books anytime that they want. If they have a need or a want to read, I want books to be right there for them, ready to use.
