What do ants do all day?

Have you ever wondered what ants do all day? It’s like they’re always on some important mission, marching in lines, carrying bits and pieces of food. Well, ants are surprisingly busy creatures! During the day, they have quite a to-do list.

For starters, they search for food. Ants love to eat things like sugar, leaves, and even tiny bits of dead insects. They work together in teams to gather food and bring it back to their home, called a colony.

But that’s not all! Ants also spend a lot of time building and fixing their homes. They dig tunnels and make chambers to create a comfortable and safe place for their queen and baby ants. Some ants even take care of the babies, feeding and cleaning them until they’re grown up.

Plus, when you see ants touching heads, they’re not just saying hello. They’re actually sharing information, like where to find food or if danger is around.
