Space Counting Mats
These Space Counting Mats are a great way to help your early learners count with confidence. Not only do they help with math and number skills, but they’re also space-themed which is super fun!
This is a great activity for preschool learners to work on building their confidence and counting skills. And when you can combine the awesomeness of outer space, you should do so every time! You’ll love these other fun space activities for kids.
We used these counting mats for the kids and they were a hit every time. We used pom poms and other markers for fun learning and the kids had a blast varying it up.

There are so many fun things that you can do with these number mats. They’re easy to print out and use at home but you can also print and take them with you on road trips or outdoor learning as well.
Since so many lessons can be taught outside of the four walls, there’s no reason that you can’t use these mats for all sorts of learning fun.

- Paper
- Pencil
- Cotton balls or Pom Pom Balls
- Cardstock
- Anything else you want to use as a marker or counter
I have the HP printer 8710 but it’s not available anymore. It’s been running well for years now. Look for another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.
