Who Is This Printable For?
These worksheets are designed for toddlers who are ready for short, adult-guided table activities.
You can use one page at a time during your Thanksgiving lessons, bring one out for quiet time, or simply follow your child’s interest without expecting them to finish every activity.
Why Use Thanksgiving Worksheets?
Thanksgiving pictures give toddlers familiar seasonal objects to notice, name, and talk about while they work.
Turkeys, pumpkins, corn, and pies appear throughout the printable, giving you easy opportunities to build simple conversations around what your child sees on each page.
Recommended Thanksgiving Books
Add a few Thanksgiving picture books to your reading time so toddlers can explore turkeys, family traditions, gratitude, and seasonal foods through simple stories and illustrations.

What Will Kids Learn?
These Thanksgiving pages introduce a few early learning skills in a simple format.
- Pre-writing: Follow straight, curved, looping, and angled tracing paths.
- Letter recognition: Become familiar with the letter T through a Thanksgiving-themed page.
- Counting: Count groups of one, two, and three pies.
- Fine motor skills: Practice controlling crayons or pencils while tracing and coloring.
- Visual attention: Look closely at pictures and follow the activity on each page.
What Supplies Are Needed?
You only need a few basic supplies for these toddler worksheets.
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper
- Crayons
- Pencil or washable marker
You could also use dot markers on the large circles on the letter T page if your child enjoys them.
I have the HP printer 8710, but it’s no longer available. It’s been running well for years now. Consider another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.
What Is Included?
The printable includes five Thanksgiving pages with coloring, letter work, tracing, and early counting activities.
Thanksgiving Coloring Page
The first page features a turkey beside a cornucopia filled with pumpkins, corn, and other foods, with a large Thanksgiving word along the bottom. Toddlers can color the large pictures and letters at their own pace.
T Is for Thanksgiving
The second page introduces a large letter T with circles inside it, along with two turkey illustrations and the words T is for Thanksgiving. Children can color the pictures and fill the circles with crayons or dot markers.
Trace the Lines
Toddlers follow four different paths toward a Thanksgiving meal. The page includes a straight diagonal line, a wavy path, loops, and an angled path for varied pre-writing practice.
Trace and Color the Turkey
Children trace the dotted outline of a large turkey and then color the finished picture. The larger image keeps the activity manageable for little hands.
Let’s Count
The final page asks children to count groups of one, two, and three pies, then color the matching number of dots on the other side. This introduces counting from 1 to 3 with a simple visual activity.
How Can You Extend the Activity?
Keep the follow-up activities short and hands-on.
- Use the Thanksgiving Tracing Worksheets for more pencil-control practice when your child is ready.
- Add the Thanksgiving Coloring Pages for another quiet activity.
- Set out one, two, and three small objects and count them together to build on the pie-counting page.
- Draw a large letter T and let your toddler cover it with stickers, fingerprints, or large paper pieces.
How Can You Keep Learning Going?
Add more printables that give little learners extra practice with tracing, hand control, coordination, and other early fine motor skills. Short activities with different formats can help children practice using their hands without asking them to sit for too long.
What Other Activities Can You Try?
Add a few more Thanksgiving activities to give toddlers different ways to explore the season. Building, counting, letter activities, crafts, and simple hands-on play can help you vary the week without relying only on worksheets.
