Fun Penguin Facts

Penguins are one of the most loved animals in the world and they’re sure to put a smile on any kid’s face!

Did you know Penguins have special feathers that help them stay dry even when swimming underwater? Penguins also can’t fly in the traditional way like other birds, but they are incredibly good swimmers. Penguins use their wings as flippers to help them move through the water more quickly.

Penguins also have claws on their webbed feet which helps them hold onto rocks and icy surfaces so they don’t slip. Penguins may look funny waddling around on land, but when you see them swimming underwater it’s easy to imagine why Penguins are one of nature’s coolest animals!
