Here’s what you’ll want on hand:
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper
- Pencil
- Crayons
I have the HP printer 8710, but it’s not available anymore. It’s been running well for years now. Look for another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.
What’s Included in the Dad’s Day Writing Sheets?
D is for Dad
This page helps your child practice uppercase and lowercase ‘D’ by tracing them, along with the word “dad.” It’s a fun intro page and sets the tone for the rest of the worksheet.
Neck Tie Patterns
Here, your child can trace lines inside neckties. We had a fun time selecting colors and making each tie look completely unique.
Words That Describe My Dad
This page includes traceable words like kind, brave, strong, and loving. It’s a great chance to talk about what makes their dad unique and why those words matter.
Things My Dad Likes
Kids trace and color everyday things like coffee, music, sports, and fishing. It opened up a cute conversation about which hobbies they want to try with their dad someday.
Trace and Write Sentences
The final sheet features two traceable sentences: “A father’s love is forever.” and “Dad is my first hero and best friend.” It wraps up the activity with a personal touch.
