Planning For The Homeschool Year
If you’re anything like me, homeschool mom life can get pretty hectic! Between planning lessons, managing homeschool activities, and keeping up with everyday family life, it can be hard to stay organized.
That’s why I created this homeschool year at a glance printable. This simple printable will help you keep track of all your homeschool appointments, activities, and assignments throughout the year.
Just print it out and hang it on your fridge or inside your homeschool planner. And don’t forget to fill in the blanks for each month as the school year goes on!
Add the Homeschool Attendance Sheet to your printables and start tracking your child’s attendance and performance.
How to print your pages
I have the HP printer 8710 but it’s not available anymore. It’s still running well for years now. Look for another HP Instant Ink ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink so you never have to worry about ink again.

There’s plenty of space to write in your important events and dates or topics that you want to cover for the school year. I like to have a yearly overview to plan things out in one space so you can move things around and work on seasonal topics as it makes sense.
It doesn’t make sense for us to do a bug unit in March as there’s still snow on the ground for us, gotta love Canada.
Recommended Year At A Glance Printables
Planning will be very helpful for busy moms. Here are my recommendations for a year at a glance printables.
Get the cute Year At A Glance Happy Planner Printable or this 2022 Rainbow Color Block Calendar and start planning your activities for the year.
Block out vacations, trips or family visits because you know you’re not going to get any work done. We do very light schooling in December when there’s so much to be done for the holidays. It’s also a good time to just do a holiday unit with lots of baking and gift making.
I’ve included a year at glance calendar that includes July 2022 – June 2023 and July 2023 – June 2024.
I like having a full year calendar ready as you go through and plan out your year and it’s super handy to find birthdays and such to mark off. It’s a good addition to your favorite planner, I like having it in the front of my planner for reference.
