Fall Animals Counting Mats

Head into the Fall season with these adorable Fall animals counting mats which are great for toddlers and preschoolers. Perfect for Fall learning! This set of printables is part of our Fun Fall Printables for Kids collection.

It’s always such a blast to learn together and incorporate the seasons as well. One of my favorites seasons of the year is Fall, so I love being able to use these Fall animals counting mats during our homeschooling lessons.

I mean, seriously…how cute as these little foxes?! They are just too adorable to not love!

The best part about these is that you can use them over and over again, making them the perfect learning resource for home or on the go. And if you don’t mind the seasonal look to them, they are perfect to use all year round as well!

My daughter likes to place pom poms on  top of the pictures and then use a dot marker to color in the circles on the numbers. I like to let her be creative and do what works best for her! As long as she is learning, I’m happy.

Recommended Fall Books for Kids

Grab your favorite fall book from the library to snuggle up on the couch and read with your kids.

Depending on the day, she’ll take the time to write the numbers out with marker, other days she’ll skip that part entirely.

You can also provide your child with a giant Q-tip and paint to make the dots. You could even have several giant Q-tips and paint in Fall colors (brown, red, orange, yellow) to make their dots.

What do you think your kids would do with these? What would they like to do best? Take a look at some great resources that you might find super helpful for these hands-on worksheets.

These worksheets are so much fun to celebrate the wonderful season of Fall (or Autumn, if you prefer to call it that way) and at the same time, they are practicing their fine motor skills and their Math! Isn’t that great?!

If your child is really good at writing the numbers, then maybe you can give this a twist and let your child use colored pencils in Fall colors to trace the numbers!
