Toilet Paper Roll Turkey Craft
Take the time to visit a farm to see if they have any turkeys that you can observe on the farm. We live in a rural area so we often see wild turkey on the farm pastures.
Have your kids help you prepare a turkey when you cook one for dinner so they can observe their body and looks at muscles and bone. Notice the similarities that they have to chickens.

- Toilet paper rolls (you can find cardboard craft tubes to link to on Amazon)
- Googly eyes
- Feathers
- Red and orange construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors

Turkey Craft Directions
1. Stick 3 to 6 pieces of feathers on the back of the toilet paper roll using glue. Set aside to dry.
2. Attach the googly eyes onto the front of the toilet paper roll.
3. Cut out a small triangle shape for the turkey’s beak from the orange construction paper. Glue it on under the googly eyes.
4. Cut out a red (wattle shape) and glue it under the beak. Allow plenty of time to dry.
Your turkey is now complete!
