Our bodies are so important and basically magical. Don’t you think? They function so perfectly, without even thinking anything about it. They are really wonderful, well-made machines. Teaching kids about them are important too, but it doesn’t have to be the ‘well-made machine’ part.
We typically start with the basics. This is the best way, in my opinion. Start small and work up. We started with these parts of the body worksheets.

About These Body Parts Worksheets
Teaching kids about the human body does not have to be complicated. This Body Parts Worksheets set makes it easy and all spelled out for them. There is a page that includes pictures and then labels each one. This is a helpful diagram of sorts that will allow children to see the body part and learn the name of it.
There are two different pages that will help kids write the words of each body part. There is also a do-a-dot for each of the beginning letters of the words.
There is also a diagram of the body with each part labeled. This is helpful for children to not only know the name of the body part but to place it on a body as well.

Suggest Body Parts Activities
You can get interactive and teach your child the head and shoulder, knees and toes song. As they learn the song, they touch that part of the body.
We also did this when we were learning french with older kids and it really cements the new vocabulary.
