Homeschool Planning Guide for the Unorganized Mom

Eliminate the homeschool overwhelm once and for all

This Homeschool Planning for the Unorganized Mom is perfect for you if:

You worry your lack of organization will ruin your family’s homeschooling and keep your kids from learning.

You know you need to plan a little more but hate the idea of having your entire day scheduled out down to the minute.

You agonized over which homeschool planner to buy, finally invested in one, and then abandoned it soon after because you realized you don’t know HOW to plan.

Homeschool Planning Guide for the Unorganized Mom

In short- you are stressed out, overwhelmed, and afraid of failing as a homeschool mom

Trust me, I know how you feel. I felt the same way. When my husband first approached me about homeschooling our oldest son, who was in the first grade at the time, I agreed to do it, but was NOT sure of myself. You see, I was one of those ‘fly by the seat of my pants’ people.

Monique at Living Life and Learning

I didn’t have a system. I didn’t plan things out ahead of time. In fact, each day my son would come to me asking what we were doing for the day. Instead of being prepared with an answer, I would either find myself online looking for last-minute ideas or scrambling through a stack of random papers I’d printed out, looking for something he could do. I was pretty much just winging it.

I learned pretty quickly that winging it was not going to work. It stressed me out and it wasn’t fair to my son. I knew that if I was going to homeschool, I needed to get my act together. I needed to have a plan for his schooling and a routine that I could stick to. So I worked one out. It has made all the difference in the world!

Once I had a system in place, things started to run more smoothly. He no longer had to ask me what we were going to do each day because he knew I had it covered. Every day, he knew exactly what he had to get done in order to enjoy his free time.

There were no fights about him doing his work – he was happy to do it! As a result, I was less stressed and found myself enjoying the process more. Now, my son is in the ninth grade and we are still homeschooling. I also homeschool my other two kids, who are in the second grade and preschool.

I feel like I found my happy medium when it comes to homeschooling and now I want to help other moms find theirs. I realized that there are a lot of moms out there who are the way that I was – committed to homeschooling their kids, but not quite sure how to work out the logistics of doing it on a daily basis. I believe that those moms could benefit from learning from someone like me, who could relate to the struggle on a personal level and has found a system that has worked for 8 years. This eBook is the result of that desire to help.

What others are saying

As a mom who has considered homeschooling, or one who has recently chosen to homeschool, or for one who is trying to put together the pieces, this planner is invaluable. There is so much great advice and tips on how and where to start, coupled with a lot of encouragement! I am really glad I got this ebook… both because it encouraged me that I can do it and because it gave many resources to help me succeed.

I just read through the entire ebook and I am so excited! First of all, I was very encouraged; I was encouraged to know that I am not the only one with the same snuggles and encouraged that Monique shared great advice on how to overcome them.

Her ebook is very organized and the topics are relevant to every single homeschooling mom, no matter where they live. I appreciate how real she is and how she offers essential tips for the “super organized” and the “super relaxed” moms.
