Easy Science Experiments That You Can Do At Home
There’s no need to be afraid of science! These easy science experiments can be done right in your own kitchen. They’re perfect for curious kids of all ages, and they make learning about science fun.
One classic experiment is the mentos and soda geyser. Drop a mentos candy into a bottle of soda, and stand back! The mentos candy interacts with the soda to create a spectacular fountain of bubbles.
Another simple experiment is making invisible ink. Combine equal parts water and baking soda to make a paste, then use it to write messages on white paper. When the paper dries, the writing will be invisible. To reveal the hidden message, hold the paper over a heat source like a light bulb or candles. The heat will cause the baking soda to darken, and the hidden message will appear.
Bubbles are always fun, and you can make them even more special by adding glitter. Just add some glitter to your dish soap before you blow bubbles, and you’ll have shimmering works of art!
These are just a few of the many simple science experiments that you can do at home. So put on your scientist’s hat and get ready to have some fun!
