Christmas Counting Match Up Printable
Now that the holidays are here, it’s time to use this Christmas Counting Match Up Printable! The kids are going to love it!
The smell of hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies always brings a smile to my face during those cold winter months. We love the smell of live Christmas trees, and you can’t beat the family experience of cutting down your own tree.

With the holidays and Christmas coming up, it doesn’t mean that learning has to stop. In fact, the more learning that you can combine with exciting times, the better received it can sometimes be!
We love using holiday-themed printables to combine more learning fun. Every time the Christmas season rolls around, we start getting excited about the Christmas worksheets that we’re going to do. There’s just something fun about the spirit of Christmas, especially when you can learn with it, too.

The great part about this printable is that it’s super simple to use! Just print it off and let them start learning; that’s it! This makes it super simple to print off, start, and prepare for learning fun.
Gather up the supplies listed below to get started!
Christmas Printable Supplies
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper or cardstock
- Laminator (optional)
- Scissors
HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Wireless All-in-One Photo Printer with Mobile Printing, Instant Ink ready (M9L66A) (Renewed)Scotch Thermal Laminator, Extra Wide 13 Inch Input, Ideal for Teachers, Small Offices, or Home (TL1302Z)White Cardstock 8.5
Print out the printable onto cardstock or paper. I like to laminate my activities so that they can be reused. Cut out all of the pieces and have your child match up the numbers, words, and blocks under the correct number column.
See this printable in action, and yes, I noticed after the video that the 8 and 9 blocks are in the wrong spots, which she corrected afterward.
To extend the activity, bake some gingerbread cookies, read your favorite Christmas books, and brainstorm ways to do a kindness act for others with your family. This is a wonderful way to get your child’s thinking away from presents and how they can spread love and joy onto others.
And make certain to sit down and have quality time with them. The family that learns together makes great memories together!
We’ve started reading a holiday book daily, and it’s made a huge difference in the flow and outcome of our feelings. The kids love being able to snuggle up and sit down with a good book, and I love how it slows down the day.
Since we’re all going constantly at a million miles a minute, being able to slow down and relax together is truly a blessing.
