The smell of hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies always bring a smile to my face during those cold winter months. We love the smell of live Christmas trees and you can’t beat the family experience and going and cutting down your own tree.
With the holidays and Christmas coming up, it doesn’t mean that learning has to stop.

Print out the printable onto cardstock or paper, I like to laminate my activities so that they can be re-used. Cut out all of the pieces and have your child match up the numbers, words and blocks under the correct number column.
See this printable in action, and yes I noticed after the video that the 8 and 9 blocks are in the wrong spots which she corrected afterwards.
To extend the activity, bake some gingerbread cookies, read your favorite Christmas books, and brainstorm ways to do a kindness act for others with your family. This is a wonderful way to get your child’s thinking away from presents and how they can spread love and joy onto others.
