Christmas Counting Activities
As a homeschool mom, I know that the holiday season can be a little hectic. Between trying to keep up with the daily lesson plans and getting everything ready for Christmas, it can be tough to find time to fit everything in.
That’s why I’ve put together a list of festive Christmas counting activities that you can do with your kids to help them get into the holiday spirit—and sneak in a little extra math practice too!

Fun Christmas Counting Activities You Can Try
I have a lot of Christmas-themed printables on the list below. For example, if your child is into play dough, you can try my gingerbread man play dough mats to get them counting from 1 to 10. You can also try fun match-up game or cut and paste activity, too.
For kids who love puzzles, I have an awesome Christmas addition puzzles. You can also use dot markers or math manipulatives like pom poms, counting chips, math link cubes for some of the counting printables.
Play an exciting game of spin and cover to decorate the gingerbread house with candies. If you want, you can use a real miniature gingerbread house with some candies. I am sure kids will learn how to count as they eat those yummy treats one by one!
