Fun Christmas Math Activities
If you are looking for activities for your kindergartener’s math practice, here are a few ideas to get you started:
Christmas Math Printables
Printables are perfect for helping kindergarteners practice counting from 1-10, skip-count to 20, and more. Print out a few pages of the Christmas counting printable and have your kindergartener count some candy canes, gingerbread men, or gifts. Some printables are great for fine motor practice, too!
Christmas Math Arts and Crafts
You can also combine math and crafts! For example, kids can make a Christmas tree with a pole and sheets of round green construction paper in different sizes that they need to insert into the pole.
You can challenge them to insert the round sheets of paper in order from biggest to smallest or you can write numbers on the paper and then make them follow a sequence.
If you feel a little more creative, you can hang small circles as Christmas ball ornaments with simple math equations written on them. Kids will love solving them!
Math activities don’t have to be boring when it’s Christmas time! With these festive math activities, your homeschooler will love doing math while celebrating the holidays.
Now it’s time for the list of math activities!
