Cool Facts About All About Me Worksheets
There’s more to these worksheets than just filling in favorites and names. They actually encourage foundational thinking and creative expression, which is perfect for this age.
- They promote self-awareness early. Kids get to reflect on their age, birthday, and family structure, which helps them build a sense of who they are and how they fit into their world.
- They build confidence. By writing or drawing what they like or what they’re good at, they start to own their preferences and personality.
- They support early writing skills. Many of these pages include traceable lines, making it easy to slip in handwriting practice without it feeling like “work.”
Recommended All About Me Books
Pairing read-alouds with printables helps the ideas stick, especially when kids can see themselves in the stories. I always keep a few picture books on hand that focus on identity and family themes to use alongside this pack.

You don’t need a lot to get started, but having a few extra items makes the process smoother.
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper
- Pencil
- Crayons
- Scissors and glue (if you will attach a photo)
I have the HP printer 8710, but it’s no longer available. It’s been running well for years now. Look for another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.

What’s included in the “About Me” kindergarten printable pack?
All About Me Cover Page
This page gives your child space to draw a self-portrait and write their name and age. It’s a great snapshot of their writing and drawing abilities at the start of the year.
My Birthday / This is My Family
They get to record their birthday and draw their family. This one has always led to the cutest pictures of our crew, even if we end up with three versions of Mom.
My Favorites
Kids get to share their favorite food, animal, and color. When my daughter filled this out years ago, she picked “grilled cheese, flamingo, and purple”. Believe me, we still laugh about it.
My Friends / I Am Good At
This page helps kids think about the people around them and their own strengths. It’s also a sweet way to remember what they felt confident doing at that age.
When I Grow Up
Kids draw themselves in the future and write what they want to be. We’ve had everything from a doctor to a dragon trainer on this one. It’s always a winner.
