What are the parts of the nervous system?
Your child will learn about the various parts of the nervous system with these printable worksheets. The parts that they’re learning to color and identify on the human body as well as learn how to write and spell are:
- Cerebrum
- Cerebellum
- Spinal cord
- Medial nerve
- Lumbar plexus
- Sciatic nerve
- And more!
You can even take this learning lesson a bit further and have them write out the words to really get the spelling down while working on their handwriting at the same time.
Another great learning resource is to have them point to all the parts of the nervous system on their own bodies, too. This helps them take the information that they’re learning from the printables and apply it to their real everyday life.

What’s included in the nervous system coloring pages for kids?
Color the Nervous System
When you print out these worksheets, make certain to have colored pencils or markers ready as well. This way, they can start coloring in the areas of the body to help them better identify them.
Once they get done coloring, they can then move on to the next step which is going to be labeling the parts of the nervous system.
Label the Nervous System
Being able to label the parts of the nervous system is so much easier when the words are listed on the printable! Not only will this help the children identify the words, but they’ll also be able to learn how to spell them out as well!
Some of the words are more difficult than others so this is a great mental exercise for them to work on.
