The great thing about using these worksheets is that it helps the kids identify the parts of the nervous system while also helping them label as well.

There are so many things about the human body to learn about that this is an easy way to break it down. Plus, when you combine the coloring, it keeps the kids active and interested, too.

While these worksheets are geared more towards older kids, younger kids can always join in on the learning fun. Just be certain to sit with them and have them partake in the learning so that they can have a hand in understanding the lesson at hand.

What are the parts of the nervous system?

Your child will learn about the various parts of the nervous system with these printable worksheets. The parts that they’re learn to color and identify on the human body as well as learn how to write and spell are:

  • Cerebellum
  • Spinal cord
  • Medial nerve
  • Lumbar plexus
  • Sciatic nerve

You can even take this learning lesson a bit further and have them write out the words to really get the spelling down while working on their handwriting at the same time.

Make certain that you pair these human body worksheets up with some great human body books as well. Kids have a great way of combining learning and reading and really making the pages come to life.

The great part about combining a variety of books with printable worksheets is that it pushes the kids to dig a bit deeper and research on the topic at hand. This is a great way for them to find their own answers to questions that they might have – and they might even teach you something new in the process.

When you print out these worksheets, make certain to have colored pencils or markers ready as well. This way, they can start coloring in the areas of the body to help them better identify them.
