Whale Books for Kids
The biggest thing that I add to our printables is great books to pair up with it. This is because every page of a book is packed full of even more great information and stories.
As you can tell from the wide variety of whale books below, some of these are stories while others are facts. The more that you can let the kids dive into books, the more that they’ll learn to love exploring and finding out things on their own.
I always love to keep a stack of books in pretty much every room of the house so that the kids can grab one and sit and read. I typically join them as well so that I can be an example of an avid reader.
Don’t forget to keep books in the car for travels and also ask the kids what types of books that they’re wanting to read. Their answer just might shock you and it will give you a good idea of what they want to read.
If you can find books that they’re going to love that means that they’re going to pick up those books and actually find the time to read them.

Whale Toys For Kids
Let’s not forget that toys can be a great learning resource, too! We love to have toys in the house to play with but toys can be a great way for the kids to use the toys for learning objects as well. Puzzles are one of our favorites because not only are we able to do the puzzle together but we’re also able to solve something as a team. This creates a fun bonding moment that is awesome for family activities.
Stuffed animals are also great for imaginative play, too. The kids really love putting on plays or making their toys come to “life” by giving them names, actions, voices, and more.
I love that they can relate to something fun with something learning that we’ve been doing in an easy and simple way. I have no problems having toys in the house that are intertwined with topics that we’re currently studying about.
