How do you make an Earth Day fizzy experiment?

Setting up this science activity is quick and easy, and the results are always exciting. When I did this experiment with my kids, they were fascinated by how the colors bubbled and mixed. They took turns squeezing the bottles and watching the foamy reaction spread across the pan.

To get started, spread the baking soda evenly in the pie pan. Next, mix blue and green food coloring with vinegar in separate squeeze bottles. Then, let your young learners drizzle the colorful vinegar over the baking soda and watch the fizzing begin. The combination of colors creates a beautiful, foamy Earth-like effect.
