What are the responsibilities of a firefighter?

Firefighters have an important job: they help to keep people safe by putting out fires and helping with other emergencies. But being a firefighter is about more than just putting out fires.

Firefighters also have to be prepared to deal with medical emergencies, car accidents, and natural disasters. They need to be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, and they need to be able to communicate clearly with their fellow firefighters.

In addition, firefighters need to be comfortable working with tools and equipment, and they need to be physically fit enough to climb ladders and carry heavy equipment. As you can see, being a firefighter is a big responsibility. But it is also a rewarding job that can make a difference in people’s lives.
