Making the Erupting Pumpkin Science Activity

When I did this with my kids, the excitement started the moment they saw the pumpkins lined up. I let them guess what might happen before we began, and their ideas ranged from “it will explode” to “it might just smell funny.” The anticipation was half the fun.
