All of my kids love dinosaurs with my middle child being right in the thick of it. He’s spent hours reading up about them and this love of dinos has been passed onto his sister. They can spend hours playing with their dinosaurs and I love seeing all of the creations they need for their dinosaur homes. Sometimes, they’re friendly and sometimes they’re engaged in intense battles.
I like to take my children’s current interests and use that as inspiration for our learning activities. This is especially true when one of my kids is learning something new or having troubles grasping a specific concept.
And now we have tons more fun printable kindergarten worksheets to share.
For instance, these Dinosaur Subtraction Puzzles. When moving from addition to subtraction, I knew that there might be a gap or hesitance to move onto something new and more challenging. I used dinosaurs to help ease that hesitation and my kids loved it!
If your kids are huge dinosaur fans like my kids, they’ll love these dinosaur subtraction puzzles. These printable math activities are wonderful ways to make learning fun.

Dinosaur Subtraction Puzzles
I cut these out for my daughter and loved watching her piece them together. You’ll have to watch out for a higher set as we move into the 20s for subtraction.
For more dinosaur activities, grab a new dinosaur book to read with your child or have them read it to you. Create your own dinosaur sensory bin or a dinosaur world for pretend play. Build your own dinosaur fossils or create your own dinosaur dig, way better than the plaster filled ones.
