The dinosaur counting mats are wonderful for helping little one learning their numbers. I have kids who adore math worksheets and they could do dozens if I asked, I do like to mix things up and not only have the complete worksheets.
My son is a major dinosaur lover so naturally, my daughter would follow her brothers’ lead as well. She loves battling her brother with their dinosaurs and has to have the same number of dinosaurs as her brother when they battle.

My oldest loved them as well, he still remembers all the different dinosaurs and the relative sizes and the period of time they lived in. I think we spent a whole year on dinosaurs and now we’re in that phase with my second son.
These counting mats are great to use with dot markers, or counters like pom poms and bingo chips. Your kids can place the counters on top of the circles on the numbers or over the dinosaurs themselves. You could also place them in sheet protectors and have your child write on them with dry erase markers.
