Body Systems Worksheets
When we started learning about the human body, I wanted something that made the topic feel approachable and fun for my kids. That’s why I created these Body Systems Worksheets, a printable set designed to help early elementary students understand the different systems that keep their bodies running every single day.
I’ve already shared my Human Body Worksheets for Kids collection, which has been a favorite in our home over the years.
Let me show you what’s included in the printable, why learning about body systems matters, and how your kids can use these pages to gain skills they’ll carry into other science topics. If you’re looking for something hands-on and engaging, these worksheets are a great fit for grades 1 to 3.

Fascinating Facts About the Human Body Systems
The human body is full of surprises, and learning some of its lesser-known details makes science so much more interesting for kids.
- Your stomach has a special lining that replaces itself every few days. This helps protect it from the powerful acid needed to digest food.
- The nervous system sends messages faster than most race cars. Some nerve signals can travel at over 200 miles per hour.
- The circulatory system is like a superhighway for blood. Your heart pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood every day to keep you alive and healthy.

Human Body Systems Worksheets Supplies
You don’t need much to get started, but having a few basic supplies on hand will make the activities easier to complete.
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper
- Pencil
- Colored pencils or crayons
I have the HP printer 8710, but it’s no longer available. It’s been running well for years now. Look for another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.
