Christmas Addition Puzzles

These Christmas Addition Puzzles are a great way to holiday themed learning and activities easily in the house! All you have to do is print and let the kids do the rest.

The Christmas tree is up, the smell of hot chocolate fills the air and you’re expecting family visits soon so the kids are excited and jumping off of the walls.

Do you really want to sit down with your math textbook to teach the kids? Nope, we spend our December doing fun Christmas learning activities, so they’re still learning but it looks a lot different than the other months of the year.

If your child is learning to add up to 10, these Christmas addition puzzles are a perfect way to keep them learning and still maintain the fun. No writing is needed but they need to match up the correct answers.

There are two puzzles for each number because I wanted to teach my daughter that there are numerous ways to add up to the same number.

Since the foundation blocks of math start with addition and subtraction, what better way to combine that learning fun with Christmas festive activities as well?

Christmas Addition Puzzles Supplies

All you need to get started on these fun holiday puzzles are listed below.

  • Printer (I have this one)
  • Paper or cardstock
  • Laminator (optional)
  • Scissors

Print out the puzzles onto paper or cardstock, I use my trusty laminator to laminate them so we can use them again.
