Who Are These Health Worksheets For?

These worksheets are for preschool and PreK learners who are beginning to recognize healthy habits while practicing early literacy and fine motor skills.

You can use them during a health theme, hygiene lesson, morning work, or whenever you want a short activity connected to everyday routines.

Why Should Preschoolers Learn About Healthy Habits?

Learning about health at this age helps children become more familiar with routines they see every day.

Simple conversations about brushing teeth, bathing, washing hands, using tissues, and keeping clean can help children recognize the choices involved in caring for their bodies. The printable gives you an easy starting point for those discussions.

What Are the Best Health Books for Preschoolers?

I like adding picture books to our lessons because stories make body care, germs, nutrition, and hygiene easier for young children to understand.

Recommended health printable packs

Look for health-themed printable packs that cover early math, writing, and fine motor skills. They can help you keep the lesson going without having to plan a full unit from scratch.

activity pages included in the Health Worksheets for Preschool

What Is Included in the Health Worksheets for Preschool?

The printable includes four pages that mix health and hygiene themes with early learning practice.

My Healthy Habits

Children look at nine illustrated actions and color the ones that show healthy habits. The page includes exercising, taking a bath, brushing teeth, using hand sanitizer, combing hair, and using a tissue, along with choices such as licking toys, putting fingers in the mouth, and putting small toys in the mouth.

Beginning Sound Sort

Children cut out nine health-related pictures and sort them under the beginning sounds Tt, Mm, and Ss. This gives them practice listening for beginning sounds while also working on cutting, sorting, and pasting.

Keeping Me Healthy

Children color pictures of a tub, comb, soap, and sink, then trace each word beside the matching object. This page combines hygiene vocabulary with handwriting and word recognition practice.

Washing of Hands

Children complete the missing half of a handwashing picture and then color the finished drawing. This page focuses on observation, pencil control, and drawing while keeping the activity connected to hygiene.

How Can You Extend the Activity?

You can build on the worksheets with a few simple activities that fit naturally into the day.

  • Practice a handwashing routine and talk through the steps together.
  • Use the germ-themed worksheets to continue talking about clean hands.
  • Try the printable yoga cards for preschoolers for a movement break.
  • Make a simple habit chart for brushing teeth, washing hands, or combing hair.
  • Set out a few everyday hygiene items and ask your child to name what each one is used for.

Keep the Learning Going

Add more health-themed printables to give preschoolers extra practice with early writing, fine motor skills, sorting, matching, and everyday body-care vocabulary. Using a few different activities can help children revisit the same ideas without repeating the exact same type of worksheet.

What Other Health Activities Can You Try?

Keep the health theme going with these related ideas:

Yes. You can choose individual pages when printing if you only want to focus on one skill or activity at a time.

Some pages can be placed in a reusable sleeve and completed with dry-erase markers. Activities that involve cutting and pasting will work best as single-use pages.

Try using one page at a time alongside your regular conversations about brushing teeth, bathing, washing hands, exercise, or other everyday routines.

Choose the parts that match your child’s current skills. You can help with cutting, skip tracing when needed, or let your child answer orally while you write for them.

These Health Worksheets for Preschool give young learners a simple way to explore healthy habits while practicing early literacy, fine motor, sorting, and drawing skills.
