As a homeschool parent, you may feel pressure to make science fun and engaging for your kids. The good news is that there are plenty of creative ways to make science topics enjoyable!

Consider infusing fun activities into the curriculum, such as creating experiments outside using natural materials or searching online for videos that break down complex concepts. With enough research, you can even find virtual field trips and virtual labs so kids can engage with others while discovering new things.

Taking away some of the structure might encourage kids to get more excited about learning. Make lessons memorable and enjoyable by turning them into something kids love, like music or games.

Reading books should not be the second option for learning! Most of the time, our kids love to ask questions of hows and whys. Also, most of the time, we don’t have any answers to that, so here is a selection of books that would definitely amaze your kids and answer all of their questions!

A themed science activity naturally leads to rich homeschool conversations. I often paused between turns to expand on what we were seeing in play.
