Crab Life Cycle Worksheets

As we mentioned, crabs have a life cycle. This means that they go through a series of changes as they grow from babies to adults.

What are the stages of a crab life cycle?

The egg is the very first stage of a crab’s life. Crab eggs are usually deposited in the water, where they will hatch into larvae.

The larva is the second stage of a crab’s life. This is when the crab starts to look more like the adult form, but it’s still small and has no claws.

The juvenile stage is when the crab starts to grow bigger and develop its adult features. Crab juveniles can be found in both the water and on land.

The adult stage is when a crab reaches its full size and becomes sexually mature. Adult crabs can be found in both the water and on land.
