Frog Life Cycle Worksheets

If you have a child who loves frogs, you need these frog life cycle worksheets. We have a little pond in our backyard and no matter how many times they die while hibernating in the winter, they still come back every year.

It’s an artificial pond and it’s not deep enough for them to hibernate in. It always attracts weird wildlife to our backyard. We had a baby skunk that drowned in it this year.

My kids love watching frogs swim and hang out whenever we find them while we’re camping. They’re not so gross that my daughter shrieks when she sees them and they’ve been fun to observe.

They’ve watched them eat a fly which my son thought was amazing. These Frog Life Cycle Worksheets can help children connect the real-life animals that they may see to the stages of their whole life and how they grow.

Frog Life Cycle Worksheets

These life cycle worksheets are great learning materials for the kids. Since frogs are quite common to see, these worksheets will be something that they’re familiar with and be excited to do.

What is Included in these frog printables:

  • Parts of a frog
  • Frog life cycle labeling

Get to know your friendly neighborhood frogs with these worksheets to identify different body parts and cut out the different stages of the frog life cycle and then label them or have them write out the answers.

You can even go on nightly walks and try to listen to them out in your neighborhood. Once the day has slowed down some, it’s amazing to hear them talk at night!

And if you listen closely, you’ll find that they have a ton to say!

To extend the activity, add your favorite frog library books, look up local species that can be found in your area, and see if you can find any on your next nature walk and identify any of them.

Take a picture of any frogs you find then try to identify them when you’re at home. Make your own frog craft or watch a cool frog documentary. We have this cool plastic frog life cycle set that perfectly illustrates the different stages of growth for frogs.

These frog printables are great for a wide variety of ages. Just print out the printable below and get ready for the fun to start.

We’ve even printed these off and headed out the door to see how many different kids of frogs and toads that we could find. One night, we found 5 different ones just outdoors hanging out!

One of the funniest memories is the time that there was a frog that was stuck to our front door window! That frog was suctioned and wasn’t letting go! The kids loved seeing his “sticky” hands and we had a great talk about how good of climbers and jumpers frogs are because they’re able to hold on so good.
