Benefits of Doing Crafts for Kids
Crafts are an awesome way for kids to explore their creativity while building important life skills! Whether they’re cutting paper, threading beads, or painting a masterpiece, crafting helps strengthen fine motor skills as little hands practice precise movements.
It also sparks problem-solving as they figure out how to bring their ideas to life—sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and that’s okay!
Patience and focus also grow as kids learn to work through each step of their project. Plus, crafts allow children to express themselves, boosting confidence and making their imaginations soar. It’s not just fun—it’s hands-on learning at its best!

Popsicle Snowflake Directions:
Place the popsicle sticks on the paper plate.
Use your paintbrush to paint each popsicle stick with white paint. Make sure to cover the sides of the sticks and the back (optional). Use two or more coats if necessary.
Once dry, squirt a dab of hot glue in the center of one of the sticks. Place another popsicle stick on top, forming a + shape.

Squirt a dab of glue in the center and place a stick diagonally.

Do this again, making an X shape. This will form the complete snowflake.

To decorate the snowflake, pour clear glue on the top of each popsicle stick and spread the glue around with the tip of the bottle.

Start putting glitters and/or sequins then set aside to try.

Go ahead and show it off.
