3D Spider Craft
There are many reasons why the 3D spider craft is a great option for kids. For one, it allows them to use their imagination and creativity as they design and construct their very own spider.
This hands-on activity also promotes fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they cut, glue, and assemble the pieces. Plus, it’s a great way to introduce basic geometry concepts such as shapes, angles, and symmetry.
You can start this super easy and cute 3D spider craft by cutting a pair of egg carton out. Your kids can make as many spiders as they like. This activity can also teach them the importance of recycling.
Make sure to paint your spider bodies using a black poster or acrylic paint! You also have the option to make brown ones!
Make your adorable arachnids extra special and realistic! Prepare their legs using 8 black strips of colored paper. Make sure to attach 4 for each side of your egg cartons.
Finalize the look of your 3D spider craft by attaching a pair of the cutest googly eyes you could find! This last and final step will make your spiders appear less creepy for kids.
Let’s celebrate because you have made your first 3D spider craft! Hooray!
