Printable Dolphin Worksheets
The best part about these worksheets is that they’re using for a wide variety of ages. My kids love them because they’re colorful and cute and all about dolphins and I love them because they’re actually teaching the kids something about dolphins as well.
Learning the parts of a dolphin and comparing the dolphin to a shark is a fun learning activity for the kids. They’ll get to see words that are new to their vocabulary and find out what part of the dolphin they belong to.
Print out and keep in your car or house for the kids to use and learn from when they’re ready.

Dolphin Books for Kids
Don’t forget to pair up these worksheets with great books for the kids. These are just a few great books about dolphins that I think everyone in the family will love.
The more that you can use resources like books to pair up with your printables, the more information that the kids are going to retain. It’s possible to have a week’s worth of learning just from the books alone!
I’m a big believer that you need to have themed books to go along with your learning activities. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s always enhanced the topics that we’re studying. The kids also seem to take more interest in a topic when they know that they can dive deeper and research a bit more with books.
If you’re looking for a book that is all about dolphins, these books can be a great resource. Keep a stack of books in your kid’s room and also in the car so that when the time strikes, they’ll grab a book and start to read.
You can always start with these books and add on to them more as they want to read more. In my opinion, books are a great way to build their minds and make them more curious about topics as well.

My kids are big shark fans so I was excited to show them a bit more about dolphins. They were really interested in learning about the differences between the two as well as what is the same as well.
I even learned a few things from the labeling part of the worksheets that I didn’t know. Since I like to sit down with the kids and work on things with them, it helps to open up my mind as well to learning. We’re never too old to learn something new.
