Have you ever stopped to think about the life cycle of a chicken?
Probably not, but it’s actually pretty interesting. Chickens start out as eggs, and after a few weeks of incubation, they hatch and become chicks.
The chicks grow up into adults, lay eggs of their own, and eventually die.
But in their life, female chickens or hens can lay a lot of eggs and if they’re not fertilized, we get to eat them. I’m not going to lie, they’re delicious.
If I could I’d love to have chicken coop in our yard just for fresh eggs.
