Fall Math Worksheets for 2nd Grade

When it comes to finding fun worksheets for kids, you’re going to love these fall math worksheets. They’re festive and geared towards the 2nd grade age. Through all my years of schooling, I’ve found that the kids react really well to seasonal sheets that bring attention to the season that we’re in.

They love printables with pictures that they can relate to and it gives them something fun to focus in on as well. (I totally get that – I’m the same way!)

And once you realize that seasonal learning is fun, you can start doing this with the other seasons of the year as well. Fall, winter, summer, and spring!

Fall Books for Kids

Every time we are studying a topic, we try to find good books that go with the topic. We like to be readers and I find that if we connect the books with the topics, we actually get to read more!

Reading about the seasons is also a great way to help your child visualize how the seasons can change and be around the world. Fall where you are may be very different than Fall for someone else in the world, and reading books together can help open up those topics to discuss!

Here are some great books to have your second grader read aloud. These are just some of our favorite fall books that you and your child can sit down and read together. They’re great to supplement with these fall math worksheets!
