X-ray Handprint Craft

This craft is a hands-on and educational way to learn about the bones of our body. Try it out and have some fun!

Equipment

  • Elmer's E431 Craft Bond Fabric and Paper Glue
  • 623181 Q-Tips Cotton Swab, Standard, White, 500 Count (Pack of 1)
  • Black Construction Paper

Ingredients

  • black construction paper
  • White Chalk
  • Q-tips Cotton Swabs
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • On black constriction paper, trace your hand using a piece of chalk.
  • Nab some Q-tips and arrange them inside the handprint outline on your black paper.
  • Just give them a quick trim with scissors so they fit just right to be the bones inside your hand.
  • Next up, with a bit of glue, make those Q-tips stay put. They're going to look just like the bones in an X-ray, which is way awesome!
  • And there you go – your rad X-ray Handprint Craft is complete! Hang it up and watch your friends do a double-take at your neat, bony masterpiece.
