Ingredients

  • Double sided tape
  • Acrylic paint yellow ochre and burnt sienne
  • Paint brush
  • Paper plate
  • Construction paper pink and black
  • Cardboard brown

Instructions

  • Using your yellow ochre colored paint, paint your paper plate for your cat's face. Use the burnt sienna color to make a strand of hair on your cat's head.
  • Print the templates provided for this activity, and trace and cut the cat's parts into the corresponding colored papers.
  • Add the cat parts to the paper plate and ensure the paint has completely dried out before doing so.
  • Draw whiskers and mouth to your cat craft using a black pen.
  • For the ears, use the printed template to trace and cut into the pink colored paper, make another pair bigger than the first ones, and paint them using the yellow ochre acrylic paint to complete your cat's ears.
  • Finish off your cat's look by attaching the furry ears to the painted paper plate. And hooray! You're done!
