My daughter is heavily into princesses right now and every single day she either is wearing her Snow White dress or her skirt that she wears over her tights. We spend our days playing with her Frozen dolls or having a tea set. Don’t get her wrong, while she is in her princess dress, she still has a sword in her back and gun attached to her arm. I think that’s what happens when you have older brothers.

Princess lovers can get reading and counting with these princess books and printable princess counting mats (1-20). Who said counting had to be boring?

These are some of our favorite princess books, my daughter would love to read her frozen books over and over again but thank goodness there are some other great princess books out there. They also feature some not so traditional princesses which make them really fun.

Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch

Little Miss Princess by Adam Hargreaves

Today I’ll be a Princess by

Princess and the Pizza  by Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton

The Princess and the Pea by Golden Books

Princess Hyacinth (The Surprising Tale of a Girl Who Floated) by Florence Parry Heide

After you’ve finished reading these wonderful princess books, how about some counting with these princess themed counting mats. Who said counting had to be boring?
