What makes reading about aliens fun for kids?
Reading about aliens is always a good time. This is because there are so many theories and thoughts out there that it opens the lines of discussion for everyone to join in on the fun!
No matter if you think that aliens are real or not, all of these books are fun to read! Use them as a way to find new conversation points with the kids.
What are fun talking points about aliens?
Aliens are a simple way to talk about all the possibilities! You can talk to the kids about if they think that aliens are real or if they think that they’ve ever seen a UFO.
Depending on the age of the kids, this can vary the type of conversation to have. Pick out a book from the list below, and then use that as a way to talk more.
If the kids are younger, you can talk about what they think aliens look like. This is a super fun way for them to be creative with their thoughts and also express some fun ideas.
For the older kids, talk to them about what they think aliens are like. Do they think that aliens are on Earth, or do they think that it might be something more futuristic?
As long as everyone is having fun and open conversations, you can’t go wrong!

How many minutes per day should kids read?
While there is no set limit or timeframe for the perfect reading time for kids, aim to have them pick up a book or some sort of reading material for 30 minutes per day.
You will find that the more that you let them read materials and items that they’re interested in, the more likely they’re going to want to read.
If you can have them read 30 minutes per day, that’s a great way to boost their reading knowledge and their vocabulary!
And even if they don’t want to read for that long, still encourage them to pick up a book and read for as long as they want.
How do I know if these books are age-appropriate?
We can only recommend books that we’ve found online, but make sure that you click through and read the ratings and reviews. Most books will have a suggested age range for the books, making it a simple way to know if it’s a good book for your child.
If you have questions still, you can always look up a specific title or ask others if they’ve read the book.
