Who Is This Printable For?
These activity sheets are designed for toddlers who are ready for short, adult-guided activities.
You can choose one page at a time based on your child’s interest instead of expecting them to work through the entire set at once.
Why Use Halloween Activity Sheets?
Halloween activity sheets give toddlers a familiar seasonal theme for exploring simple early learning ideas.
The large pictures and short activities make it easy to talk about colors, numbers, sizes, and Halloween objects while your child works.

What Will Kids Learn?
These Halloween activities introduce several beginning skills.
- Letter recognition: Become familiar with the letter H and connect it with Halloween.
- Pre-writing: Follow straight and curved tracing paths.
- Size comparison: Identify big and small pumpkins.
- Counting: Count groups of one, two, and three Halloween hats.
- Fine motor skills: Practice controlling crayons, pencils, or markers.
- Visual attention: Look closely at pictures and follow simple directions.
What Supplies Are Needed?
You only need a few basic supplies.
- Printer (I have this one)
- Paper
- Crayons
- Pencil or washable marker
Dot markers can also be used with the circles on the letter H page.
I have the HP printer 8710, but it’s no longer available. It’s been running well for years now. Consider another HP Instant Ink-ready printer so that you can use their program to send you ink cartridges whenever your printer gets low on ink.
What Is Included?
The five activity sheets combine coloring, early literacy, tracing, size recognition, and beginning counting practice.
Happy Halloween Coloring Page
Toddlers can color a Halloween bus surrounded by ghosts, witches, spiders, a cat, and a pumpkin character. The large Happy Halloween letters at the bottom can be colored too.
H Is for Halloween
This page features a large letter “H” filled with circles alongside a mummy and vampire. Kids can color the pictures or fill the circles with crayons or dot markers while becoming familiar with the letter H.
Trace the Lines
Children follow three paths from witches to Halloween pictures. There’s a straight line and two curved paths for simple pre-writing practice.
Big and Small Pumpkins
Toddlers look at pairs of pumpkins and circle the big or small picture as directed. The clear size differences make the activity easier for young learners to understand.
Count the Halloween Hats
Kids count groups of one, two, and three witch hats, then match each group to the correct number.
How Can You Extend the Activity?
Continue the Halloween theme with a few simple follow-up activities.
- Use the Halloween Safety Worksheets to introduce simple safety ideas.
- Set up this Fun Jack-O-Lantern Sensory Bin for hands-on play.
- Gather a few objects in noticeably different sizes and practice identifying which is big and which is small.
- Count groups of one, two, and three Halloween toys or picture cards together.
How Can You Keep Learning Going?
Add more printables and hands-on activities that give little learners extra practice with tracing, pencil control, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. Short activities in different formats can help children practice using their hands without asking them to sit for too long.
What Other Activities Can You Try?
Add a few more Halloween activities to give toddlers different ways to explore the theme through worksheets, games, crafts, and hands-on play.
