Equipment

  • Shuttle Art 16 Pack Black Fine Tip Dry Erase Markers for Kids
  • Tru-Ray Colored Paper
  • 100Pcs Jumbo Wooden Craft Sticks Wooden Popsicle Craft Sticks Stick 6” Long

Ingredients

  • Scissors
  • Liquid glue
  • Paper plate
  • Popsicle stick
  • Black Marker
  • Glue stick
  • Colored paper yellow, green, black, red, sky blue
  • Template provided Printable

Instructions

  • Using scissors, create a semi-circle shape out of your sky blue colored paper, then cut a wave-like line on the straight surface part of it.
  • Glue your sky blue colored paper cut-out onto a paper plate. Make a small slit and follow the circular bottom edge of your paper plate. Make sure the cut is not exceeding the semi-circle sky blue paper that you glued earlier.
  • Print the template provided, Carefully cut the pieces out using scissors.
  • Trace the cut-out figures onto your colored papers and carefully cut them using your scissors.
  • Attach the cut-out figures (starfish, seaweed, and fish) to the work you created in steps 1-2.
  • Using a glue stick, attach the star of this activity (the whale) to a popsicle stick.
  • Lastly, attach your whale on a stick to the ocean paper plate you created and here you go!
