Unicorn Slime Recipe

This activity lets kids explore simple chemistry by mixing safe ingredients to create stretchy, sparkly slime. With just a few steps, they can transform basic household items into a fun, magical sensory experience.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Clear Elmer’s Glue
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Contact Solution must contain boric acid
  • Pink Food Coloring
  • Pink or Unicorn Glitter
  • Medium-sized Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon

Instructions

  • Gather all your supplies.
  • Pour warm water into a bowl. Add baking soda and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add clear glue and stir to combine with the baking soda mixture.
  • Add 2 drops of food coloring and glitter. Stir well.
  • Add contact solution and stir until the slime starts to pull away from the sides.
  • Knead with hands if needed until it feels just right.
