Contact Lens Solution
Clear Elmer's Glue
Elmer's Clear Liquid School Glue, Slime Glue, & Craft Glue
Ingredients
2 6-ouncebottles of clear Elmer's glue
1 1/2tbspcontact lens solutionw/boric acid]
1/2cupwarm water
1/2tspbaking soda
1 1/2tbspglitter in whitesilver, or iridescent
Heart confetti
Instructions
Add the glue to a large bowl.
Add the water to the bowl. If using glue bottles, add water and shake to ensure you get all the glue out.
Add the baking soda and mix thoroughly.
If using glitter or confetti, add them and mix.
Add small amounts of the contact lens solution and stir consistently. (see notes)
Remove the slime from the bowl, leaving the liquid behind, and knead it to bring it together. It is ready to play with when it is no longer sticky.
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge to keep it fresh.
Notes
Regular glue will require less contact lens solution than glitter glue.
Add the contact lens solution slowly, mixing between additions, and add only enough to bring the glue into a softball.
