Put 1 cup of water into three varying cups. Add 1/4 cup sugar to one and stir. Add 1/4 cup salt to another and stir.

For the three other cups, add water and heat until hot. Each should have 1 cup of water in them.

Add 1/4 cup sugar to one and stir.

Add 1/4 cup salt to one and stir.

Put a peep into each cup and set a timer for 2 minutes.

Check how they look after the timer goes off. Make a note.

Do this over and over, checking after every 2 minutes.
