Equipment

  • Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, 16 oz (3 Pack)
  • P&J Fragrance Oil | Apple Oil 100ml - Diffuser Oil Scents
  • Elmer's Liquid School Glue

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of PVC glue we use a 6 oz bottle of Elmer's Glue
  • 1 tbsp of contact lens solution containing boric acid
  • ½ cup of warm water
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of apple scent
  • Red food coloring

Instructions

  • Into a large bowl, pour out your PVC glue.
  • Fill the empty glue bottle with warm water (so that it's about ⅓ full) and put the lid back on. Shake the bottle to get the rest of the glue off the sides and dissolve in the water.
  • Pour the glue and water into the bowl with the rest of the glue, and stir till it's all blended together.
  • Now add the baking soda. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add the food coloring and apple scent. (Optional: add some red glitter!!) Mix well.
  • Slowly add the contact lens solution to the glue mixture and stir well between additions. The mix will come together into a soft ball as you mix.
  • Once the slime has formed a ball, remove it from the bowl. It will be sticky!
  • Play with the slime, working it with your fingers, stretching and kneading it, to bring it together. It will gradually lose stickiness. When all the stickiness is gone, the slime is ready!

Notes

Once playtime is over, store the slime in an airtight container and put it in the fridge to keep.
