  • Paper Plate
  • Colored Paper Orange, Mustard Yellow, Sky Blue, Pink, Light Pink, Black

Instructions

  • Using scissors and black colored paper, cut a circle that is as big as the inner circle of the paper plate.
  • Make the background space themed by creating the sun and planets by cutting different types of colored paper into various sizes.
  • Glue the planets and the sun to the black paper using glue and cut off the excess parts that are sticking out of the circle.
  • Once done, attach the black paper to the paper plate and add more detail by drawing tiny stars and swirls using the white gel pen.
  • To make the spaceship move, create space for the popsicle to stick into by cutting a slit at the bottom part of the paper plate.
  • It is now time to create the rocket ship! Get your pink paper and cut a triangle for the tip of the rocket ship and for the body, use the light pink paper and cut a rectangle. Attach them using glue.
  • Create a fire shape for the rocket ship using the orange and yellow paper then glue them together.
  • Use a marker and create windows to add more detail to the rocket ship.
  • Glue the fire with the rocket ship and attach the popsicle stick at the bottom fire part.
  • Your spaceship is finally done! It's now time for your kids to have fun playing with it.
