Equipment

  • Black Construction Paper
  • Pipe Cleaners Chenille Stem (Yellow)
  • Self-adhesive Googly Eyes

Ingredients

  • Construction Paper Black and yellow
  • Googly eyes
  • Cardboard
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Glue stick
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Download and then print the template provided on a piece of paper or directly on the yellow construction paper. These will be the bodies of your bee.
  • Paste the templates on cardboard and cut them to make them thick and firm.
  • Get the black construction paper and cut thin strips for your bee's signature stripes. Paste them horizontally to both bodies.
  • Place the two bodies side by side, one facing up and one down. Cut a strip in the middle of the first bee, across the stripes then in the middle of the second bee, across the yellow part.
  • Connect the two bodies together by inserting them into the strips you cut.
  • Cut tiny strips of the yellow pipe cleaner, just enough length for your bee's antennae. Glue them nicely then put the googly eyes of your bee.
  • Now we're finally done with our 3D paper bee craft!
