Equipment

  • Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, 16 oz (3 Pack)
  • Elmer's Glue Magical Liquid Activator Solution, 1 Quart Slime Activator
  • Elmer's Clear Liquid School Glue, Slime Glue, & Craft Glue

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles Clear Elmer's glue 6 ounces
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tbsp contact lens solution - must contain boric acid
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white gold stars
  • Glitter optional

Instructions

  • Add the glue to a large bowl.
  • Add 1/4 cup water to the bottle of glue, close the lid and shake to get the remaining glue out of the bottle and add the water to the bowl. Repeat for the second glue bottle.
  • Add the baking soda and mix thoroughly.
  • Add the contact lens solution to the bowl, adding it slowly and mixing it well. Add only enough solution to bring the glue together into a soft ball.
  • Remove the slime from the bowl, leave any liquid behind and knead the slime so that it is no longer sticky.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator when not in use.

Notes

Regular glue will require less contact lens solution than glitter glue.
