Instructions
Slice off the top and bottom of the lemon, then cut it in half. Place the halves on your plate.
Drop 3 to 5 drops of food coloring onto the top of each lemon half.
Sprinkle baking soda over the lemons.
Gently press down on the lemon with a spoon, and watch it fizz and erupt!

Notes
If you prefer, you can break the lemon apart before adding the baking soda to get the reaction started without using the spoon. The more lemon juice, the better!
