Jello Play Dough Recipe: Seashell theme

This recipe is easy to follow and uses simple ingredients, and the end result is a squishy play dough that's both fun to play with and smells great!

Equipment

  • BOVADO USA 1 Quart Glass Bowl for Storage, Mixing, Serving - Clear, Dishwasher, Freezer & Oven Safe Quality Glass, Easy-Clean, 1 QT
  • Jell-O Instant Pudding & Pie Filling, Coconut Cream, 3.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)
  • Rumford Non-Gmo Corn Starch, 6.5 Ounce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup vanilla-flavored instant pudding mix
  • ⅓ cup warm water
  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Mixing spoon or spatula!
  • Seashells
  • Plastic mat or Tablecloth

Instructions

  • Start by putting half the cornstarch (½ cup) into the bowl. Put aside the other half for later.
  • Add the ¼ cup of jello pudding mix to the mixing bowl.
  • Pour in ⅓ cup of warm water.
  • Mix well!
  • Add the remaining cornstarch and mix well again. It should form a sticky dough ball.
  • Tip the bowl out onto the plastic mat and knead. Work the dough until you get the consistency you want -- not sticky, but still soft.
  • If your dough is still too sticky, add more cornstarch, a tablespoon at a time.
  • Once you have your desired consistency, you may now let your kids play with it and enjoy!
