Flying Bat Craft

Let your kids create their very own flying bat craft with the use of the simplest materials you can mostly find at home!

Equipment

  • Colored Paper
  • Overseas Paint Pens Paint Markers
  • Weemium Paper Straws Disposable

Ingredients

  • Bat Parts Template
  • Colored papers black, yellow, violet
  • White and black pen
  • Straws Paper and plastic
  • Scissors
  • Glue and tape

Instructions

  • Print the template provided. Trace and cut the bat's body and ears onto the violet-colored paper.
  • Trace and cut the bat's head into the black colored paper, and the bat's eyes onto the yellow colored paper.
  • Attach the eyes onto the bat's head, and make sure to make it more appealing and cute by adding details onto its face using white and black pen markers.
  • Attach the bat's head to the bat's body using glue.
  • Cut out small pieces of plastic straw and cover one of its holes with tape. Attach the straw cutout to the back part of your bat's head. Make sure that the covered hole of your plastic straw is facing upward.
  • Lastly, get the paper straws, and attach them to the uncovered part of the plastic straw in your bat's head. Test your craft! Blow into the straw and let your bat fly high! Hooray!

Notes

Always be careful when using a pair of scissors!
